What was once a cavernous bank has been converted into a romantic supper club that elevates modern American cuisine. Whether you are in the mood for seafood, pizza, or burgers, Bartleby excels. Why is it a supper club, you ask? Slide into a velvet-cushioned seat and imagine yourself in a speakeasy. And if you have late-night cravings, Bartleby turns into a tavern with a “Rakes and Ramblers Late Night Menu.”
James Beard finalist Chef Vinnie Cimino and Proprietor Andrew Watts have created a menu that makes you feel at home. That’s because it’s based on Grandma Cordelia’s recipes, but with a modern refresh. Head over to Edwin’s Butcher Shop on Buckeye Road for sandwiches or for some steaks to throw on the grill.

The menu offers wonderful sandwiches, baked goods, and other dishes made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations, so get there early.
Chef Jeremy Umansky has a vision and in one word, it’s “fermentation.” His obsession with fermentation has resulted in Larder, an old-fashioned Jewish deli with a modern twist. Sure, you can ask the four-time James Beard Award nominee about molds and fermentation, but in the meantime, sink your teeth into some of the best pastrami sandwich, sauerkraut, pickles, and fried chicken you’ll find anywhere.
