Major Hoopples

Located on a bluff overlooking the Cuyahoga River, the blue-collar joint offers a great view of the skyline and an even better feel for old-school Cleveland. Established in 1981 as Major Hoopples Riverbed Café, the bar is owned by the Plonski family to this day. Hoopples, as it is called today, has won numerous “best of awards” but what we appreciate everyday are our customers from 30, 20, 10 or fewer years returning and making Hoopples the kind of place it is today. The famous and the infamous have frequented Hoopples over the years, but we like to think of ourselves as a true Cleveland bar. We are what we are - no frills, no BS … just a friendly place with good food, good people and that great view.
