How's this for alliteration? BrewBoat CLE calls itself "Ohio's first and only pedal-powered paddle-wheel party-boat." But it's no hyperbole -  the startup books Cuyahoga River cruises for up to 14 people to sip drinks and listen to good tunes while pedaling on a cycleboat.

2. Great Lakes Watersports

Lake Erie is your adventure oyster, thanks to Great Lakes Watersports. Located at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River, the business rents jet skis, boats and kayaks to novices and experts alike from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

3. 41° North Kayak

Point your GPS toward 41° North Kayak Adventures, which invites thrill-seekers of all skill levels to try their hand at kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. The company offers rentals, classes and even tours and day trips.

4. Goodtime III + Nautica Queen

If letting someone else navigate our fair waters is more your style, the majestic Goodtime III and Nautica Queen boats offer a variety of waterfront cruises - ranging from sightseeing jaunts to romantic dinner voyages.
