Skip the Kennel When You Stay in Downtown CLE

When preparing for your trip to Cleveland, knowing if your furry friend can tag along can be an important part of your process, so we’ve fetched a list of the pet-friendly hotels Downtown Cleveland has to offer.

From check-in welcome packages and surprises, to an indoor dog park, you’re sure to find a hotel that’s “paw-fect” for you and your four-legged friend.

Aloft Cleveland Downtown

This stylish, modern hotel on the East Bank of the Flats is a great option for pet owners. The hotel doesn’t charge a pet fee and allows two pets, including dogs up to 40 lbs. (but no cats). Book online or call 216.400.6469.

Drury Plaza Hotel Cleveland Downtown

Located in the historic former Board of Education building, the Drury Plaza in Downtown Cleveland features a breathtaking two-story lobby. The hotel allows up to two pets per room (dogs and cats under 80 lbs. only) for a daily fee of $35 per room, plus tax. Book online or call 216.357.3100.

Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade

Staying in the Hyatt Regency at The Arcade means experiencing a part of Cleveland’s history, as the building dates back to 1890. The Hyatt will allow one pet to stay with you for a fee of $100. Small dogs up to 50 lbs. are welcome, but no cats. Guests must call 877.411.3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a dog-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a dog and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties.

Kimpton Schofield Hotel

One of Cleveland’s newest hotels is a boutique beauty located in another of Cleveland’s landmark buildings. The Kimpton allows pets to stay for free with their owners, allowing dogs of all shapes and sizes. There’s no specified pet limit, but it’s always good to call before you bring a menagerie. Metropolitan at The 9

A trendy, upscale hotel that regularly hosts stars from screen and sports alike, Metropolitan at The 9 will allow you to bring two dogs with you up to 75 lbs. for $100 per dog, per stay. The hotel treats dogs to a welcome package at check-in and features an indoor dog park on the 29th floor that is open 24 hours a day. Book online or call 216.239.1200.

Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Downtown

The former Colonial hotel, built in 1898 as part of the Colonial Arcade, the Residence Inn in Downtown Cleveland is proudly pet friendly. Two pets up to 15 lbs. can stay with you for $100 per stay, though guests with pets are not permitted in Pure Rooms. Book online or call 216.443.9043.

The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland

The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland combines the legacy of our city’s unbreakable spirit with luxurious accommodations and amenities that are second to none. The downtown hotel welcomes up to two small dogs under 50 lbs. for a fee of $125. Book online or call 216.623.1300.

The Westin Cleveland Downtown

The Westin offers sophisticated and comfortable accommodations right in the heart of Downtown Cleveland. The hotel accepts pets up to 40lbs. per room, but pets must not be left unattended. There is no pet fee, but guests must call 216.771.7700 to request a pet-friendly room.

Cleveland Airport Marriott

With a demonstrated commitment to excellence and style that shows in their well-appointed guest rooms, meeting spaces and in-house dining, this isn’t your average airport hotel. Up to two pets of any size are welcome for a fee of $75 per stay. Book online or call 216.252.5333.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Cleveland Independence

If you’re traveling for an extended period of time, there’s no need to board your dog with these hip and spacious suites. Pets up to 75 lbs. are welcome to stay with you for a fee of $75 per pet, per stay. Book online or call 216.264.4272.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Cleveland Airport North

Beautifully redone and comfortable guest rooms, plenty of amenities and a convenient location highlight this transformed La Quinta Inn & Suites. Two pets of any size can stay for $20 per pet, per night (not to exceed $40 per pet, per stay). Call 877.411.3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties.

Red Roof Inn Locations

All Red Roof Inn locations nationwide permit guests to bring pets – FREE of charge. One well-behaved pet (under 80lbs.) per room is welcome. Check in with the front desk upon arrival.
