The Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland is an ideal venue for everything from small executive meetings to bustling industry trade shows. This crucial Downtown Cleveland linchpin is poised to level up further thanks to a forthcoming $49 million renovation and expansion.
What’s new?
The project will refurbish the nearby Global Center for Health Innovation, enhancing the 120,000-square-foot complex with flexible meeting room space, an elevated outdoor terrace, and an expansion of the junior ballroom.
Additional infrastructure improvements such as new escalators, stairs and restrooms are part of a package expected to be completed by summer 2024 – right on time for a meeting of the American Society of Association Executives, the nation’s largest gathering of convention and meeting planners.
Exciting changes to the Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant convention center will allow easy navigation through the space, all the better to guide busy visitors to building entrances and outdoor amenity areas.
