Tyisha has been writing since the beginning of her collegiate career at Cleveland State University in April 2017. She attributes her love of writing to being able to showcase her talent through the spirit of Cleveland. She writes to free her mind and uses writing as a guiding light to her life. Through her passion for writing, she fulfills her purpose.
She is a current graduating senior at CSU and managing editor for CSU’s Vindicator Magazine. She has written for Cleveland Magazine as an editorial intern. She has also interned for Destination Cleveland and continues to write for them because of their kick-ass commitment to Cleveland culture.
She loves hanging out at Flats East Bank and dining on the Boardwalk. Her go-to spots are Dante’s Inferno and Margaritaville. With all the cool spots along the pier, she knows she couldn’t possibly get bored. In her spare time, Tyisha likes to write about her roots in East Cleveland. It reminds her of her time as a marching band dancer and how that energy transformed into a world of writing.
