Due to their overwhelming popularity since relaunching in 2024, Playhouse Square’s free public tours are being offered once again this year. Guests can explore Playhouse Square’s performance spaces, alongside our knowledgeable and enthusiastic RedCoat volunteers, and learn about one of the world's premier arts districts and the world’s largest theater restoration project.
Ninety-minute, history-based tours are available on select Saturdays beginning on Saturday, January 18. Public tours are free, but registration is required for attendees. Tours vary slightly each month based on availability of spaces. Guests are permitted to bring cameras on their tour to capture the beauty of Playhouse Square in this intimate setting.
New this year are free public tours on two select Monday evenings – May 5 and August 4. These tours will follow the same format as the Saturday tours, and registration is required. A tour focusing on Playhouse Square’s architecture will also be available in the summer. Details on this specialized tour will be shared later this year.
