Neighborhood Shopping

Why leave Lee-Seville?

In Lee-Seville and the surrounding neighborhoods, there’s a shopping plaza where you can find anything you need. For fresh eats, check out Dave’s Markets, a go-to for residents. Or, for cute little eateries and tree-lined streets, take a drive to the nearby idyllic Shaker Heights suburb filled with historic buildings, parks and small shops. Or you can take a short drive to Garfield Heights and take a hike on the scenic Garfield Park Reservation, part of renown Cleveland Metroparks, and home Cuyahoga County’s tallest waterfall (at 48 feet tall), Mill Creek Falls.

Community is what it’s all about in the Lee-Seville neighborhood, a residential area with a love for tradition and a focus on family. Located on Cleveland's south side, this neighborhood is flanked by the suburbs of North Randall and Warrensville Heights. The area is home to several manufacturing and distribution facilities, as well as dozens of laid-back, no-frills restaurants and to-go eateries.

This Cleveland neighborhood also boasts a unique piece of history: in 1929, Arthur R. Johnston, a resident of this area, became one of Ohio’s first African American mayors, and the first in Cuyahoga County. At the time, this was a major win for civil rights progress. Today, the neighborhood continues to keep its eye on the future.
