Maria and her two daughters began baking cupcakes for a good cause and they ended up being a pretty big hit!
Back in January of 2014, Three Girls Cupcake Shoppe was founded. It all started when 7 year old Adriana asked her mom Maria Brenders if she could take a plane to visit her aunt in Texas. Adriana did not understand the worth of a dollar yet, and Maria explained that flying round trip to Texas from Ohio is very expensive! Maria suggested to Adriana that she try to do something in order to earn money that she could put towards her flight. Adriana said “How about a bake sale!” and Maria agreed that was a great idea! Gabriella, who was 4 at the time, joined in and they began to bake. Once they started selling their cupcakes people suggested that they open their own business and continue to sell them. After much consideration they created a Facebook business page and have continued to grow from there!
