The Symposium
Featuring an eclectic event space atmosphere, the Symposium is an LGBTQ+ affirming place inside the historic Phantasy Theater Complex. Both intimate and casual, the Symposium is available for private catered parties, special events, and small gatherings.
History of The Symposium
Already an established and beloved institution in Lakewood and the Greater Cleveland area, the Symposium has a rich history and an electric atmosphere. Since the 1980s, diverse crowds have packed the Symposium to see some of the most eccentric and explosive acts in the country. The dark yet charming character of the Symposium has made the space famous among passionate music fans and entertainers from all walks of life. We are happy to keep this venue alive as an event hall.
