As part of the 2024 renovation of the
Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland,
this plaza was designed to accommodate
an 18-foot-tall monument to
Cleveland’s hometown hero planned by
the Siegel & Shuster Society — so named
for Jerry Seigel and Joe Shuster who
created Superman while living in Cleveland’s
Glenville neighborhood. A filming
location for 2025’s “Superman,” our city
embraces both the history and future of
the Man of Steel.
