Miller Ferry operates the only passenger/vehicle ferries to the Lake Erie islands of Put-in-Bay (South Bass Island) and Middle Bass Island. All ferries depart from the tip of Catawba (end of SR 53 N). Miller Ferry offers the lowest fares and most frequent trips, with ferries to Put-in-Bay every half hour in the summer. They also offer five free parking areas, group discounts, free passage for pets, convenient motorcycle and bicycle transportation, and ADA accessibility.
Miller Ferry to Middle Bass Island also offers a scenic 40 minute ferry ride. Vehicle reservations are recommended and taken up to two weeks in advance by calling 800-500-2421. Passengers do not need a reservation.
