Painted in 1969 by John Morrell and
a group of volunteers, this work was
commissioned by Cleveland Mayor Carl
Stokes. It shows four people of different
races, genders and ages sitting together.
In the early 1990s there was a proposal
to paint over it, but public outcry resulted
in its restoration.
