About the Artist
Ian Burleson is a digital and acrylic artist based in Cleveland Ohio, currently residing in Akron. Raised by a single mother before being introduced to a blended family, Ian started creating art at an early age to escape turmoil and uncertainty. He has branched out as an artist as he's gotten older to explore his multi-cultural background.
About the Design
Aiming Inspiration: The foundations of Cleveland are strong just like the guardians. Our legacy is built on old families and strong cultural institutions depicted in this piece. Using images and colors that provide backbone, culture, structure, artistic view and guidance. The Land is redefining itself while keeping true to its hard working yet eccentric side and this piece was designed to relay it. The mural is located on the Der Braumeister Restaurant building.
