Northeast Ohio is home to one of the largest Hungarian communities outside Budapest. The first major wave of immigrants arrived in Cleveland from Hungary in the 1870s, with additional arrivals after the world wars and the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
The Hungarian Cultural Garden honors those roots and the community that continues to shape the region today.
