The Czech Cultural Garden is a calm, circular space framed by two entrance monuments—and a centerpiece statue that glows after dark.
In the middle, you’ll find Bishop Jan Amos Komenský (Comenius), a 17th-century education reformer often linked to modern teaching ideas, including early learning and expanded access to education. A solar-powered lighting system illuminates the statue at night.
The garden also honors generations of Czech Clevelanders, with roots in Northeast Ohio dating back to the mid-1800s.
