Since 1916, City Hall has not only been the seat of our city’s government, but also a beloved local landmark. The gorgeous, neoclassical design of its famed rotunda and towering marbled columns has been a favorite for weddings, benefit galas and other special events looking for the taste of stately elegance this CLE landmark offers.
It took nearly a decade to complete the buildng by architect J. Milton Dyer, a man known for his ornate style who had already completed a number of important projects around the region (including the Coast Guard Station on Whiskey Island, Cleveland Athletc Club and Lake and Summit County Courthouses, among others).
Now the people of Cleveland can celebrate their city's storied history - while adding stories all their own - in the beautiful, historic Cleveland City Hall.
