The Roig family immigrated from Spain in the 1800’s. Many of them dedicated themselves to coffee cultivation and this particular farm survived for four generations. Today, Cafe Roig operates as it did many years ago. With dedication for excellence.
We are very excited to be using a coffee that is from Puerto Rico with such a rich history.
Our menu will consist of a variety of coffees, cold drinks and baked goods. We will have an array of coffees such as espresso’s cappuccinos, cafe con leche, cortaditos, café colaos, along with drip coffee. But many with a twist, as customers can choose to taste our homemade recipes based on Latino favorites such as coquito, tres leches, flan, and horchata. We also will have traditional latino hot chocolate with or without queso de bolla y galletas and also hot tea. Besides hot drinks, we will also have a variety of cold drinks such as iced coffees, aguas frescas parcha acerola and fresas, frappes and smoothies. We can’t forget the food and of course we will have pan de mallorca con diferentes sabores (nutella, guayaba, y mezcla de sándwichitos) quesitos, pastelillos, flan, tornillos, cheesecake, pan sobao para acompañar el cafecito con mantequilla, y también bocadillos de jamon y queso.
