Balaton Restaurant in Cleveland’s Shaker Heights neighborhood is most famous for its wiener schnitzel and a variance of that, the chicken schnitzel. Other ethnic offerings on the menu include stuffed cabbages, goulashes, the Hungarian lecso (a yellow paprika and tomato-based summer stew), and, of course, chicken paprikash. A staple since 1964, this hotspot in Shaker Square throws down big, delicious portions. Come hungry!
