The Slovenian National Home's Pre-Thanksgiving Polka Jam is an annual event, held before the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame and Museum’s Thanksgiving Polka Party Weekend. It is a casual jam session where local legends of Cleveland/Slovenian-Style Polka drop in with their instruments to perform classic polka hits. All polka musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments to join in. In addition, the bar will be serving Slovenian wines, local craft beers, and Slovenian foods, to include krajnska klobasa (Slovenian sausage), jota (bean and sauerkraut hotpot), walnut potica (rolled pastry), and želševka (chive potica).
