The City of University Heights is inviting your business to be part of the 2nd Annual University Heights Juneteenth Celebration, which will be held on Sunday, June 18th at Walter Stinson Community Park (2301 Fenwick Road University Heights, OH 44118). The Celebration will take place between the hours of 1:30 P.M. and 8:30 P.M.
Our Main Stage this year will be focused on musical acts and Black excellence through the involvement of the fraternities and sororities making up the Divine Nine. The event will be Emceed by Kierra Cotton of WKYC with Marcus Alan Ward providing music sets.

As this year is also the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop as a culture, headlining this year’s event is two-time Grammy Award winning artist Anthony Henderson (Krayzie Bone), along with artists from The Life Entertainment. The main stage lineup is as follows:
Main Stage Lineup (total time of event: 7 Hours):
1. Opening Remarks- 1:30 – 1:40 (10 min)
2. Cleveland Chorale- 1:45 – 2:15 (30 min)
3. Councilman Conwell & The Footprints- 2:45 – 3:30 (45 min)
4. Hubbs Groove- 4:00 – 5:00 (1 Hr)
5. The Divine Nine- 5:15 – 6:45 (1 Hr, 30 Min)
6. Spread The Love Foundation- 7:15 – 7:30 (15 min)
7. The Life Entertainment (Krayzie Bone/ Nova The Rebel / Caine / Mookie Motonio)- 7:30 - 8:30p.m. (1 Hr)

The Dollar Bank Stage will be located at the opposite end of the park and will be more interactive with the friends and families who come to the event. The lineup includes Yoga, Zumba, Hip-Hop workouts, Spoken Word, and financial literacy talks provided by Dollar Bank throughout the day:

1. Yoga with Sam Pierce- 1:45 - 2:30 (45 min)
2. Dollar Bank 2:30 – 2:45 (10 min)
3. Novas Performing Arts- 2:45 – 3:05 (20 min)
4. Zumba with Candace Hall- 3:10 – 3:55 (45 min)
5. Dollar Bank- 4:00 – 4:10 (10 min)
6. Community Forum with Dr. Alicia Sloan (45 min) 4:15 – 5:00
7. Xtreme Hip Hop w/ MoejoFit 5:15 – 6:00 (45 min)
8. Dollar Bank- 6:05 – 6:15 (10 min)
9. Zumba with Janice Hudson-Whitted- (45 min) 6:20 – 7:05
10. Spoken Word Poetry with Siaara Freeman- 7:10 – 7:30 (20 min)

The City recently began marketing the event on Facebook and Instagram, and has begun reaching out to businesses who may attend the celebration. So this year along with getting Dad a tie, Dad could also come to University Heights for great food, music, education, entertainment, culture, history, and togetherness.
