
Ohio Scottish Games & Celtic Festival Returns to Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds June 24-25, 2022
After two years of being on-line, the 45th Ohio Scottish Games & Celtic Festival will be in-person and take place on June 24-25 at our new home, the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, OH. The festival will open Friday evening from 5 PM-10 PM for a Ceilidh. Adult admission is $10.00, $5 for ages 5-17 when purchased in advance, under 5 free. Saturday's Highland Games will open at 8AM and run until 10 PM. Tickets are $17 for adults, $7 for ages 5-17 when purchased in advance, under 5 free. Saturday evening (after 6PM) $10 for adults, $7 for ages 5-17, under 5 free.
Entertainment Pavilion will feature 7 Nations, Arise & Go, Father, Son & Friends and the Andrew McManus Trio. Festival includes Highland Athletics, Ohio’s Strongest Celt Competition, Calling of the Clans event, Parade of Competitors, Saturday evening Tattoo, access to the music workshop/session building, genealogy, whisky tasting, axe throwing, harp, fiddle, bagpipe, pipe band and highland dance competitions and more. New in 2022 is the haggis throw and keg toss as well as the Ohio Stones of Strength Competition which is open to all who’d like to enter. The Kilted Mile will take place at 10 AM and feature men’s and woman’s division as well as a 12 and under 100 yard dash event.
New in 2022, we will be joined by Cleveland Society for Creative Anachronism, Barony of the Cleftlands, bringing the medieval period to life at this year’s festival. Archery, fencing, armored combat, costuming and crafts will excite and entertain our audience.
