Summer in The Land means baseball games, spending time in our gorgeous parks and going to see live music—preferably outdoors. After all, as temperatures heat up, so does the local concert season. Here are some of the national artists swinging through town this summer.
May 28, Huntington Bank Field
The Land’s summer concert calendar opens with a bang: Aussie rockers AC/DC are closing out their North American PWR UP tour here. Rockers The Pretty Reckless open.
May 30, Blossom Music Center
Newly minted Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Dave Matthews Band are making one of their semi-annual stops at Blossom. Expect good vibes and classic tunes like “Ants Marching” and “Satellite” under the stars.
June 13, Globe Iron
The initial schedule for Globe Iron, a new venue that opened in May on the West Bank of the Flats, is mighty impressive; highlights include a rare local gig from Santigold, an electro-pop artist who incorporates eclectic influences from dub, hip-hop, and more.
June 14, Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
Given the year she’s had, country upstart Megan Moroney won’t be playing mid-sized venues like Jacobs Pavilion for long. Go see for yourself why the Georgia singer-songwriter’s heartfelt lyrics and vulnerable vocals have made such an impact.
June 17, House of Blues
Two of neo-soul’s biggest names team up for Love You Too, the Tour, with Ledisi supporting her 2025 album “The Crown” and Ambrosius promoting last year’s “Casablanco.”
June 18, Blossom Music Center
Earlier this year, the UK folk revivalists released their first album in seven years, the Dave Cobb-produced “RUSHMERE.” Expect songs from that—and classics like “I Will Wait”—during what’ll no doubt be a life-affirming live show.
June 19-20, Jacobs Pavilion At Nautica
Given their live gigs with artists like Dead & Company and Trey Anastasio, it’s no wonder Goose is one of the most popular new jam-leaning rock bands around—so popular they’re doing two nights in The Land.
June 28, Rocket Arena
Perhaps the hip-hop show of the summer. Superstar Tyler, The Creator headlines, with openers Lil Yachty and Paris, Texas.
July 7, Agora Theatre
The ’90s vibes are strong for this show, as beloved Omaha group 311 brings their chill grooves to the Agora stage.
July 17, Rocket Arena
Message from the clergy! Theatrical Swedish hard rockers Ghost are bringing the Skeletour 2025 World Tour to Cleveland, with new leader Papa V Perpetua leading the way.
July 28, Blossom Music Center
Plan to come in late on Tuesday, as this Monday night show with pop icon Kesha (and a reunited Scissor Sisters) is guaranteed to be a party. Come for early hits such as “TiK ToK” and “We R Who We R” and stay for new classics such as “JOYRIDE.”
July 30, Blossom Music Center
In late April, Cyndi Lauper was announced as a 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. She’ll kick off this celebration with a local stop on her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, with a rainbow-hued setlist full of ’80s hits galore.
Aug. 7, Blossom Music Center
The biggest name to hit the classical and jazz worlds in years, Laufey is teaming up with the Cleveland Orchestra for a very special concert dubbed “A Night at the Symphony,” touted to include “a selection of her original songs, as well as a few unexpected surprises.”
Aug. 15-16, Huntington Bank Field
The centerpiece of The Land’s summer stadium concert schedule is two nights with country superstar Morgan Wallen. He’s bringing along Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Ella Langley to boot.
Aug. 22, Blossom Music Center
Although Black Keys members Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney no longer live in Akron, the duo always receives a warm welcome when they return to Northeast Ohio. With Gary Clark Jr. opening, expect a ferocious night of turbocharged blues-rock action.
Aug. 29, Rocket Arena
The Canadian pop phenom is having a massive 2025, led by appearances on “Saturday Night Live,” a set at Coachella and now a headlining trek: the Miss Possessive Tour.
Aug. 29, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
The Rock Hall’s outdoor summer concert series is one of the city’s biggest gems. A highlight of the 2025 schedule is a show from guitar wizard St. Vincent, who incorporates blazing electronics and electric riffs into her artistic rock music.
