“Lost & Found in Cleveland” puts the city’s vintage charm in the spotlight. Co-written and co-directed by Cleveland native Keith Gerchak and new Cleveland resident Marisa Guterman, “Lost & Found in Cleveland” was filmed and set entirely in The Land. The story focuses on five strangers whose lives intertwine over a 24-hour period when a popular, televised antique appraisal show comes to town.
In light of this cinematic CLE moment, we’re digging into some of the city’s most special spots for timeless treasure hunting. Whether you’re searching for film magic or that one-of-a-kind chair, there has never been a better time to go antiquing amongst some of Cleveland’s most eclectic vintage destinations.
The film highlights Century Antiques, which plays a starring role. Walking down the aisles you’ll find a moody, light-filled antique store packed with stained glass, pottery, furniture and classic décor that exemplifies the connection between the city’s grit and the glitter of the film. The cinematic atmosphere immerses you in one of the film’s star locations, with its rows of vintage chandeliers and the scent of old wood and history.

This Lakewood favorite is an antique shop with, oddly enough, cabinetfuls of curiosities. You’ll find taxidermy, Victorian oddities, vintage medical tools, skeletons and unique art pieces. Some locals even say this candlelight shop is filled with hidden secrets inside each antique. If you’re in for a mystery, Cleveland Curiosities is waiting to be discovered.
For collectors with a more refined taste, Greenwald Antiques specializes in fine art collections, sculpture, furniture and European décor. This is where Cleveland’s antiques meet a gallery of elegance. Each item provides a nod to the past and each shelf holds a mini monument to history. Wandering through the space, you’ll find carefully curated pieces of art that create an elevated antique shopping experience.
Finally, check out Apple Jax Toys, a childhood nostalgia destination for serious toy collectors and casual fans alike, with locations in Lakewood and Chagrin Falls. Old memories come alive browsing shelves packed with action figures, retro games, collectible cards and other pop culture throwbacks. Each aisle will make you feel like you’re walking into your childhood bedroom, taking you back to unboxing all your favorite toys and feeling nothing but pure joy. Adulting can wait for a day.
