Last season did not quite go as planned — but Cleveland Browns fans never stay down for long. Win or lose, through every heart-pounding victory and gut-wrenching defeat, we bleed orange and brown. Now, with a new season nearly upon us, a reloaded squad hopes to chart a course back to the playoffs.
So, as the Browns get ready to kick off another training camp, it’s safe to say that we’re feeling pretty optimistic about the season ahead. Dust off that jersey, throw on a dog mask (we’re not judging), and check out these tips on how to make a day at Browns training camp one to remember.
App Admittance
Practices open to the public starting on July 25, so download the Cleveland Browns mobile app now to make the training camp entry process a breeze. Then, on the big day, just bring along your smartphone and flash your digital tickets at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus’s entrance off Beech Street for speedy admission.
Keep an eye on the Browns mobile app for the most up-to-date information on training camp — and don’t forget that the NFL Clear Bag policy applies to all eight open practices this summer. General admission parking available at the Berea Recreation Center on Front Street and at Baldwin Wallace University.
Gridiron Action
Good news: There’s not a bad seat in the house. But snag your spot in the bleachers early because it’s all available on a first-come, first-serve basis — and you won’t want to miss a second of Coach Stefanski putting our guys through their paces.
Whether it’s Myles Garrett and Mason Graham blowing up blockers or Joe Flacco (or one of our many other quarterbacks) hitting Jerry Jeudy in stride down the sideline, there’s no shortage of promising talent on this roster. And every drop of sweat shed this summer moves the Brownies one step closer to the Super Bowl.
Camp Activities
Not all the action takes place on the practice field, as the Browns offer a wide variety of activities to keep fans — young and old — entertained:
- Live out your NFL dreams by participating in football challenges like the quarterback toss, field goal kicks, and the 40-yard dash. Better start stretching now.
- Adopt a dog (and new best friend) at the Puppy Pound. In partnership with Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups, the Browns hope to find plenty of deserving pooches new forever homes.
- In honor of the Dawg Pound’s 40th anniversary, snap some pics next to life-size bobbleheads of Hanford Dixon and Frank Minnifield — the team legends who originated the iconic super-fan section. Photo ops with mascots Brownie and Chomps available, too.
What a Difference a Day Makes
Training camp is more than just a chance to see your favorite players up close. It’s a celebration of everything that makes Browns football so special — the tailgates, the traditions, and that unshakable belief that this could be our year.
Each and every practice open to the public features special themes, food trucks, and gate giveaways (ranging from rally towels to schedule magnets). Check out the full schedule below:
- July 25 — Dawg Pound XL
- July 26 — Back Together Weekend
- July 28 — Rainbow Day (UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s)
- July 29 — Military Appreciation
- July 30 — Stay in the Game! Attendance Network
- August 1 — Youth Football Day

- August 4 — Orange and Brown
From honoring heroes in the local community to growing the game for the next generation, these theme days ensure that no two days at Browns training camp are ever quite the same.
Dawgs Gotta Eat
The end of practice doesn’t mean your day in Berea has to be over, too. Hit up either Boss ChickNBeer (wings FTW) or Gar & Mar Jamaican American Cuisine for some post-camp fuel, before washing it all down with a Grindstone Gold Lager over at Cornerstone Brewing Co.
Before heading home, swing by Igloo Frozen Yogurt for a tray of Froyo Nachos. Yes, you heard that right. Dig into this sweet treat with dreams of Victory Mondays dancing in your head.
