This holiday season, don’t make your mother-in-law sleep on the fold-out — that’s just awkward for everybody. Instead, consider sending her (or yourself) to a Cleveland hotel where they’ve done all the holiday decorating for you.

Glidden House

This always dramatically lit French Gothic eclectic-style mansion-turned-hotel in University Circle is walking distance to The Cleveland Museum or Art, Cleveland Botanical Garden and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Hyatt Regency at the Old Arcade

Nicknamed Cleveland’s “Crystal Palace,” The Arcade was one of the first indoor shopping malls built in the United States, and boasts some of Cleveland’s most iconic architecture. The glass and brass always shine, but will be resplendent for the holidays with a massive Christmas tree under the dome roof, tons of lights and a Christmas window display.

Marriott Downtown at Key Center

Get into the holiday spirit at the Marriott at Key Center in Downtown with a host of holiday décor. You'll get the works from sparkling trees to twinkling lights and everything in between. Plus, you're locate in the middle of Downtown Cleveland. What could be better?

Metropolitan Hotel at The 9

This thoroughly modern hotel will treat you like a rock star. The hotel, which is a gorgeously remodeled Marcel Breuer building, comes alive during the holidays with a bevy of holiday décor to match its upscale vibes.

Renaissance Cleveland Hotel

Featuring decadent trees, a courtyard lights display and New Year’s confetti, the red carpet of the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel lends itself to holiday decor. It doesn't get more festive than when you're room looks over the lights on Cleveland’s Public Square.

Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland

The Ritz-Carlton's holiday displays are unmatched and have historically included tree displays and a giant Cleveland-inspired gingerbread display. Plus, you can head to Skylight Park in Tower City without having to leave the building. Two holidays displays in one. Score.

Tudor Arms (Doubletree by Hilton)

Christmas trees, poinsettias and holly round out the homey Christmas displays in the stunningly historic Tudor Arms. With its castle-like opulence, it’s the perfect place to lend a fancy festive feel to the holidays.

Kimpton Schofield Hotel

Situated in the restored Schofield Building at the corner of Ninth and Euclid, the Kimpton envelops travelers in style, elegance and warmth. You're also right across the street from the stunning Heinen's. Trust us, it's not your average grocery store. Look up.

Hilton Cleveland Downtown

Oh what fun it is to stay at this sophisticated hotel with true Cleveland personality and stellar panoramic views. For those really looking to get the full holiday experience, book the Mr. Kringle Suite, rife with festive decorations, two Christmas trees, a life-sized nutcracker and seasonal velvet bedding and pillows. Guests get a special note from Mr. Kringle, milk and cookies, and complimentary parking.

Hilton Garden Inn & Gateway Conference Center

In the heart of the vibrant Gateway District, Hilton Garden Inn gets all gussied up in holiday spirit with decorations to keep you nice and merry.

The Westin

Right smack dab in the middle of Downtown Cleveland, the Westin practically sings out loud with holiday cheer. Elegant decorations, lights and general merriment abound. Walking distance to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame are an added bonus to choosing The Westin.

Doubletree by Hilton, Cleveland Downtown Lakeside

Be close to family and friends during the holidays, and let Doubletree take some of the stress off your shoulders. Surround yourself with holiday decor and get flexible rates, overnight accommodations for up to four guests, and free parking. Happy Holidays.
