Welcome to the dawn of a new era for the Cleveland Monsters — “Black and Blue” hockey.
That’s not just the team’s new color scheme. It’s also a warning to the rest of the AHL. That our Monsters won’t back down for a second. From the moment the puck drops until the final horn sounds, these guys go all out — all the time. Flying around the ice, crashing into the glass and throwing bodies in front of every shot.
(Oh, and there might even be a fight or two.)
As we all gear up for another action-packed hockey season at Rocket Arena, check out our top five reasons that tickets to a Monsters game should top your to-do list.
Up Next
As the top affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, the Cleveland Monsters boast a roster of up-and-coming hockey talent pushing hard for a big league opportunity. In the AHL, each and every game provides a little glimpse into the bright future of the sport.
Cheer on these All-Stars of tomorrow as they refine and polish their on-ice skills while also spearheading the charge to bring another Calder Cup to The Land. The Monsters last won the league championship back in 2016 — which, as you might recall, was a pretty good year for CLE sports.
Strong Support
We take sports pretty seriously around these parts, and hockey is no exception. The Monsters have led the entire AHL in attendance for the past 3 seasons — and look all but certain to retain that crown in 25/26.
And remember, looking the part is half the battle, too. Swing by the Center Ice Team Shop inside Rocket Arena — open weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and during all games — to grab a new sweater and deck yourself out in the team’s black-and-blue apparel.
The Price is Right
Supporting your Cleveland Monsters won’t ever break the bank. We promise. Individual tickets start at just $10 — and Monsters Family Value Packs offer highly-discounted seats for groups, too. On 1-2-3 Fridays, fuel up your empty stomach without emptying your wallet. Eat and drink your fill of $1 sodas, $2 hot dogs and $3 Labatt Blues (along with other select beer specials).
