Sarah Green’s Cleveland story began at birth, took her across the Midwest, and eventually brought her back home. A proud Cleveland State University alum and former women’s volleyball player, Sarah planted roots in the city after graduation and has called it home for the past six years.
She has worked to uplift Cleveland’s neighborhoods through her role at Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and now shares the city’s stories as a Content Specialist at Destination Cleveland. Beyond her work, she’s passionate about two things that Cleveland does best: sports and theater.
Sarah continues to find new reasons to love Cleveland with each season. She admires how Clevelanders are always up for an adventure and eager to support others chasing their dreams. Her advice to anyone considering a move to The Land: do it—and once you’re here, get outside and meet as many people as possible. In her opinion, Cleveland’s special sauce is its people.
