Boris Lurie: Nothing To Do But To Try is a first-of-its-kind exhibition on the 20th-century artist and Holocaust survivor Boris Lurie. Centered around his private, earliest work, the “War Series,” as well as never-before exhibited objects and ephemera from Lurie’s personal archive, the exhibition presents a portrait of an artist reckoning with devastating trauma, haunting memories, and an elusive, lifelong quest for freedom. Organized by The Museum of Jewish Heritage—A Living Memorial to the Holocaust with the Boris Lurie Art Foundation. Docent-led Tours on Sundays at 2:00 PM, Fridays at 2:00 PM, and the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM – Starting October 18, 2026!
