A centrally-located elevated taproom and gathering place that features a show-stopping custom Argentinian-style hearth as the centerpiece of the kitchen, Pioneer is an upscale sports bar that celebrates the great outdoors, camping culture, and the oldest method of cooking known to man: live open fire. Located across from Cleveland’s historic West Side Market, the full service 180-seat, 7,000 square-foot space features warm wooden tones that seamlessly transition into the 120-seat outdoor patio, which is anchored by a custom Airstream bar and large outdoor fireplaces. The expansive patio is the perfect atmosphere for locals to watch their favorite Cleveland sports team while enjoying a craft cocktail or buckets of local brews, including Pioneer’s signature “Bear Can" from craft brewery Sibling Brewing Company. Here, Executive Chef Brian Whalen will utilize an enormous 20-foot wood-fired grill, one of the largest in the country, to serve a fire-focused menu.
