On December 9th, Music Director Domenico Boyagian will lead the orchestra in a beautiful and gratifying concert: Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite No.1, Respighi L’adorazione dei Magi, Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, and Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate featuring Soprano Soloist Angela Mortellaro. Boyagian has been called a “born conductor” by the Cleveland Plain Dealer and has dedicated himself to symphonic music and opera. Chicago Tribune says of Mortellaro: “The luscious tonal and physical beauty, fluent coloratura and vivacious stage presence Mortellaro brings to the title role makes us root for [her] right out of the gate.” Suburban Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra presenting five free concerts a season, and has been called the premier community orchestra in the greater Cleveland area.
