ALEX Theater presents Iconic LAUGHS: A VALENTINE'S SPECTACLE. Sit back and be prepared to laugh out loud. Comedian and author of "Memoirs of a Wingman" Steve Guy brings back the fun and always entertaining stand-up series to the Alex Theater. This time around he has assembled an ensemble to cover every aspect of love, dating and relationships. The Wingman - Steve Guy has been making crowds laugh for nearly a decade using comedy to meet large audiences so he can further extend the number of women he’s friend zoned by. He derives his humor from his real life experiences in dating, a lack of attention as a child despite having four parents, and a keen observation on the happenings of the world. He'll laugh with you about the best and worst in life with honesty and a really stupid cheesy smile. The Millennial Girl Next Door - Megan Brautigam is a standup comedian and actress from Cleveland, Ohio. Megan combines her quirky, and at times dark, view with an upbeat style full of quickly-changing topics and one-liners. The Latin Lothario - Marcello Hernandez is a stand up comedian from Miami, FL currently living in Cleveland, OH. He has performed stand up in Ohio, New York, California, Florida & Illinois. He is a former state champion in Florida for acting monologues, and has acted in three theatre productions at John Carroll University. The Independent Woman - Jess Faulstich is averse to all things scary or sad, so she grew up almost exclusively watching sitcoms, romantic & slapstick comedies. She cites "The Simpsons" as one of her biggest influences to the degree she has references to the show tattooed on her person. She began writing comedy in 2009 & has been performing standup since June 2016. She will eventually be survived by several cats & her hair stylist Geoffrey. The Newlywed - Josh Volchko was once described as what it would look like if a male cheerleader developed a drinking problem. Performing comedy for the last 5 years, he gives his perspective on life as man in his early 30s approaching marriage, and his ever changing feelings about the world around him. Humility and self-deprecation makes it clear nobody really hates Josh as much as Josh. His comedy can be best described by his glowing review on ratemyprofessor.com received during his time as a college professor: "Makes it interesting. Makes a lot of jokes, some are funny, some aren't. At least he tries." VALET PARKING for this Iconic LAUGHS is $10* (*discount given after the show with valet card and ticket)
