During the inaugural BorderLight: Cleveland Festival of International Theatre, all of Cleveland will become a stage for visionary global theatre (during what’s typically down time for local theatres). The festival will activate in both performance and public spaces—from Playhouse Square to Public Square —and facilitate cool collaborations between local and international theatre artists, including more than 100 artists from nine different countries. Festival programming features a lineup of 40 unique productions on 14 stages located among multiple outdoor and indoor venues. Check out the online listing for a complete schedule of performances.
On top of the performances taking place at the stage areas, there will be fortune tellers, poets, and plenty of talented street performers. There will even be a "circus" tent, courtesy of Wizbang!, in the middle of Public Square throughout the festival.
