Do you fancy yourself a pretty good athlete? Maybe you're a dedicated runner, competing in regular races and racking up cool-looking medals and top times. Perhaps you prefer testing yourself with grueling climbs on your bike. Some athletes feel most at home in a pool, ripping lap after lap in their preferred stroke. Any of these events are worthy tests of your athletic prowess, but have you tried all three, one after another?
Welcome to the world of the triathlon.
USA Triathlon is heading back to Cleveland, the "Rock 'n Roll Capital of the World," and it's bringing the nation's top multisport athletes with it. Participants will swim in Lake Erie and bike and run along the lake shore overlooking downtown Cleveland. Athletes in either race have the chance to compete for Age Group National Titles as well as spots on Team USA in 2020.
The Olympic-Distance Toyota Age Group National Championship will take place on Saturday, Aug. 10 while the Sprint National Championship will occur on Sunday, Aug, 11. Additional race details below. Check the website for registration details.
