Gateway District

The Gateway District attracts swarms of locals and visitors Downtown for major concerts and professional baseball, basketball and hockey games — plus all the eating, drinking and celebrating (or commiserating) that goes on before and after those events. It also is home to many Downtown hotels, retails stores and more than 60 restaurants and bars.

  1. Watch your favorite Cleveland team rock the court or join the crowd for a life-changing show at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the massive downtown complex that houses more than 20,000 spectators and concertgoers.
  2. New renovations to the home of the Cleveland Indians has made Progressive Field one of the best summer spots for visitors. Choose from some of CLE's favorite dining or drinking hotspots and indulge in the best snacks and local brews while watching one of America's favorite pasttimes.
  3. Not only is the 5th Street Arcades a century-old architectural landmark in the heart of Downtown Cleveland, it's also a shopping venue.
