CLE Dog Adoption Program

Thinking of moving to Cleveland? That decision just got even more paw-some thanks to the CLE Dog Adoption Program. 

When you move to the Cleveland area, we'll ensure you meet your new fur-ever friend. Sign up for the CLE Dog Adoption Program, and we'll cover $300 toward the adoption fees of a dog from a local rescue shelter or animal protective organization in Cuyahoga, Lake, Medina, Ashtabula, Portage, Geauga, Summit or Lorain County.

Or, if you're moving to Cleveland with your doggo already in tow, the CLE Dog Adoption Program will provide you with a one-year membership to Taps & Tails, an indoor/outdoor dog park and bar.

Qualifying entrants must:

• Complete the below form with the required information.
• Have moved to Cuyahoga County, Ohio on or after Feb. 12, 2024.
• Provide documented proof of residency in the form of two consecutive months of one utility bill that shows the entrant's name at a service address within Cuyahoga County.
• Provide proof of previous residence in the form of utility bills from the two months preceding the entry, which bear the entrant's name at a service address outside of Cuyahoga County.
• Be 18 years of age and older as of Feb. 12, 2024.

One submission per person. This incentive is available only to the first 100 eligible submissions. The selection of recipients is conducted on an as-received, first-come first-served basis starting Feb. 12, 2024. This program ends on Dec. 31, 2024.
