A lifelong Clevelander, Kevin Carpenter never misses a chance to spread the good word about his hometown. So, obviously, he loves writing for Destination Cleveland. Whether it’s a summer night cheering on the Tribe at Progressive Field, devouring Mitchell’s Ice Cream in Ohio City, or classing it up at a Cleveland Orchestra performance, The Land’s got it all.
Really, that’s what Cleveland is all about — world-class amenities with an unassuming attitude.
Kevin attended St. Ignatius High School and John Carroll University, before immersing himself in the local sports scene by working at ESPN 850 WKNR and the Cleveland City Stars professional soccer team. His work has also appeared in Cleveland Magazine, Ohio Magazine, ESPN.com, Variety, and more.
