When the holidays hit in The Land, it means one very important thing: Christmas Ale. While other states like Michigan and Pennsylvania have strong Christmas beer traditions of their own, they lack something that makes Ohio’s craft beer scene the powerhouse it is today: The Great Lakes Brewing Company.
Since the 90s, their holiday-inspired beer has been a staple among drinkers worldwide— especially right here in their hometown of Cleveland, where Christmas Ale is as much a reason for the season as anything else.
