Q & A with Waffles

1. How and when did you and your human meet?
   My mom got me from a family friend in 2017 when I was just 6 weeks old and the size of a potato.
2. What’s your favorite place to walk your human in CLE?
   I love walking around the path at Edgewater Beach. It’s good exercise for my little legs and there are so many smells. I don’t like the water, but I like sitting on my mom’s lap in the sand to watch the other pups enjoy the dog beach.
3. Do you and your human have a favorite dog-friendly bar in CLE?
   We love Terrestrial Brewing in Detroit-Shoreway, Mason’s Creamery in Ohio City and the Beer Garden at Forest City Brewery in Tremont.
4. What’s one piece of advice you’d give another dog traveling to Cleveland?
   Check out when the Guardians, Cavs and Monsters have their Dog Nights. I got to go to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse for a Monsters game and even got my own seat.
5. What’s your human’s favorite thing about Cleveland?
   How much there is to do. You can spend the morning out in nature at the National Park, the afternoon by the lake and the evening downtown.
6. Who’s your dog hero? Basically, if you could sniff one butt, which butt would you sniff and why?
   Vito the Pug, the first pug to win “Best in Show” at the National Dog Show. He’s breaking barriers for pugs (and half pugs) everywhere.
