CLEVELAND (Jan. 22, 2026) – Destination Cleveland’s 2026
Cleveland Brewery Passport is now available for residents and visitors. This year’s digital passport features 42 breweries and is hosted within the Destination Cleveland
smartphone app, giving locals and visitors an additional resource within the app to guide their exploration of Cleveland.
The new passport format allows users to complete special achievements throughout the year as they complete their journey to check in at all 42 brewery brands, giving users unique ways to explore different parts of Cleveland’s craft beer scene – such as visiting all the breweries with animals in the name, breweries that sit on the Cuyahoga River or creating a mini tour based on breweries in one neighborhood or region. Limited-time achievements – some with extra prizes for completion – will be added throughout the year.
The seventh edition of the popular program includes three recent additions to the local brewery scene: Mosaic Brewing Company in Tremont, Two Friends Brewing in Collinwood and Haven Brewing in Oberlin. Also joining the passport for the first time is Craft Collective at Van Aken Market Hall. All breweries on the passport are located within 30 miles of Downtown Cleveland. “The Cleveland Brewery Passport continues to be a popular activity for beer lovers, with more than 380 users visiting all locations on last year’s passport – double the number of completers from the previous year,” said Hannah Belsito, chief experience officer at Destination Cleveland. “We’re excited to move the passport to the Destination Cleveland app and offer a more seamless way for locals and their visitors to explore the region’s breweries as well as discover new Cleveland spots along the way.”
Participants in the 2026 Cleveland Brewery Passport program are rewarded with prizes as they visit locations throughout the passport. All prizes can be claimed at the Cleveland Visitors Center.
- First check-in: Users will receive an official 2026 Cleveland Brewery Passport sticker for their first brewery check in.
- Check in, unlock prizes: Users will earn a check-in credit at each new brewery they visit. Prize levels are unlocked after 6, 15 and 30 check-ins. Users can earn prizes such as glassware, T-shirts, cooler bags and more. A full list of prizes and corresponding check-in values is available here.
- Final check-in: After making a purchase and checking in at all 42 brewery brands on the passport, users will earn a commemorative 2026 Cleveland Brewery Passport pennant and pin. Users who complete the passport will also receive an exclusive invite to a passport completion event in early 2027 and be entered in an end-of-year drawing to win one of five grand prize packages.
All passport check-ins must be completed by 11:59 pm on Dec. 31, 2026, to be eligible for prizes. Redemption and pickup is available at the
Cleveland Visitors Center (334 Euclid Ave.) throughout the year. If a brewery location closes during the program year, a check-in at that location will not be required to complete the passport.
How It Works
The 2026 Cleveland Brewery Passport is virtual and only available within the
Destination Cleveland app. After registering, users can check in when they purchase a drink, food or merchandise at a participating brewery. Upon purchase, staff at each brewery will provide users with a unique four-digit code to complete their check-in and earn their credit for that brewery. Each check-in must be completed while the user is physically present at the brewery location. Criteria for brewery involvement in the Cleveland Brewery Passport are:
- All breweries must have an A1C permit and have an active brewing system on premise.
- All breweries must have their beer available throughout the course of their time on the passport.
- All breweries must be physically located within 30 miles of Public Square and not in the territory of another brewery passport (Summit Brew Path, Medina County Brewery Passport, etc.).
Destination Cleveland App
Launched in July 2025, the
Destination Cleveland app offers integrated trip planning software that helps visitors and locals discover things to do, places to eat and must-visit spots. Users can save locations, create a personalized itinerary for their visit or use ready-made Cleveland itineraries that have been curated based on local suggestions. The app also includes detailed information about visitor attractions, restaurants and hospitality businesses, an event calendar and a live chat feature to answer users’ questions about The Land. The app is available for download in app stores and at ThisisCleveland.com/app.
