This is a big season for basketball in Cleveland. The young and hungry Cavs embark on a critical season, already making noise in the NBA with the likes of Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell. If that wasn’t enough, the Cleveland Charge of the G League moved from their former home at the Wolstein Center to the historic and iconic Public Auditorium in the heart of Downtown Cleveland.
Listen, we could sit here and talk all day about why you should head down to meet your Cleveland Charge this season, but here are five big reasons to get to a Charge game as soon as possible.

The Future Plays Here
The G League is where the future of the NBA plays. More and more, we’re seeing success stories come out of this still young developmental league producing major NBA talent. Notable stars like Paskal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Rudy Gobert and Khris Middleton all made their way through the G League. Highly drafted rookies increasingly chose to play in the G League instead of college, making it clear that it’s become the no. 2 basketball league in the world. The Cavs’ Dean Wade is just one example of G League success stories you can watch grow every night in Downtown Cleveland.
A Uniquely Cleveland Experience
If everything we’ve listed here so far should tell you anything, it’s that Cleveland Charge games are an amazing Cleveland sports experience. Free throws on the court after games. A Fun Zone near the court complete with crazy inflatables. I mean, really, they’re some of the best experiences for families and basketball fans alike. Also, meet future Cavaliers with postgame autographs after every home game.
So, get down to the Public Auditorium this season and cheer on the future of Cleveland basketball.
