There aren’t many suburban oases that boast three upscale shopping districts, a variety of dining options ranging from elegant steakhouses to hearty local favorites, gorgeous green spaces and culture, but Beachwood does it with class.
Located only 25 minutes from both Downtown Cleveland and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, the Beachwood area on Cleveland’s east side is an ideal destination for great places to stay, amazing food and a lot of fun without those Downtown prices.

Where to Eat
Cleveland is quickly becoming known the world over as a culinary hotspot, and you’ll find those experiences alive and well – along with hometown favorites – in this nearby suburb. Anyone who loves a good steak won’t know what to do with themselves between the consistently fabulous Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse or Red, The Steakhouse, named one of the top ten steakhouses in the country. Meanwhile, eat like a local at Heck's Cafe or Winking Lizard, then experience a CLE fave with dessert at Mitchell's Ice Cream.
What to Do
Don’t worry, you haven’t died, but Beachwood is the center of shopping heaven. Beachwood Place has long stood out as a fixture for luxury shopping, boasting a Saks Fifth Avenue among many other high-end brands. Pinecrest is a nearby upscale live/work/play district in Orange Village, with so much to do and see that you better start here. Shop great brands like Williams Sonoma, REI, Pottery Barn and more, then stash those shopping bags and head back out to Lyndhurst's Legacy Village and Eton Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere, each with dozens of upscale shopping and dining options that offer more of the best national brands and charming local boutiques.
Head back to Pinecrest and Pinstripes for a few cocktails between rounds of bocce before you sit down to the luxury, dine-in moviegoing experience of Silverspot Cinema. Get outside in the fresh air at the beautiful Acacia Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks, or tour one of the fascinating exhibits at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage. There is so much to see and do in Beachwood, you might need to stay an extra day to fit it all in.
