Music & Beer Fest With A Purpose

What if drinking beer and listening to good music could also help the environment? Sounds preposterous, right? But what if this unicorn event actually existed - and happened every year, right here in Cleveland?
Enter the 17th annual Great Lakes Burning River Fest, which takes place Aug. 17-18 at the historic Coast Guard Station at Whiskey Island starting at 6 p.m.
For just $15 per day, you can hang out on the lakefront listening to tunes from talented local musicians (and one notable national act) while noshing on Cleveland food and sipping on brews from the event's presenter, eco-conscious Cleveland brewery Great Lakes Brewing Company.
Best of all, proceeds from tickets and beer sales benefit the Burning River Foundation - an organization dedicated to preserving and restoring the city's waterfront assets, and drawing awareness to issues affecting Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River.
In other words, drink up - you're helping save the planet.
Make No Mistake
