Fancy yourself a creator? Or maybe you’re just looking for something to release the pent-up artist inside you. This group just may be the answer.
The Ingeneers Workshop and Potluck is a volunteer-driven, free weekly meetup where artists gather to build, paint, weld, stitch and create in the IngenuityLabs @ Hamilton Collaborative. Together, they come up with ideas and make works that are featured at IngenuityFest and partner events across Greater Cleveland.
But don’t be intimidated -- this is for anyone and everyone. Newcomers and experienced participants alike have the chance to lead a collaborative project of their own imagining or jump in on something already in the works. It’s a great way to meet people and develop your artistic skills.
Oh, and food. Always food. These Thursday workshops are also potluck-style meals, so bring an appetite (and maybe a dish to share)!
Additional Information
The workshop isn’t just for physical art -- the Ingeneers truly represent creativity in all its forms, from tool-wielding carpenters and fine artists to storytellers and social media mavens.
There are no requirements or restrictions, so even if you have zero experience you’re welcome to join. Just make sure to wear some clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting messy. Maybe drag out an ex’s old t-shirt you wouldn’t mind trashing (bonus: this could help with creative expression).
How to Register
