Meet Cassie H., a Cleveland artist who dramatically transforms herself into the energizing and dazzling hyperfemme drag queen known as “Dusty Bucket.” She’s a transplant to the city who found her place among the region’s tight-knit drag community that’s filled with just as much love and acceptance, as glitter and flair. When she’s not performing, you might find her at the area’s local coffee shops and boutiques.

Meet Tamara C. She wears something brown and orange every single day. She has an entire den in her house devoted to the Cleveland Browns. And, she spends the hour before every home game welcoming Browns fans to FirstEnergy Stadium along the berm of the Shoreway.

In this city, passion is everything. Don’t believe us? Watch it unfold as we asked real-life Clevelanders this very simple question: “What’s the best part of Cleveland?”

All Great Stories Begin with Passion.

Everyone knows Cleveland is full of characters. Now meet a few who were more than willing to passionately defend the best part of The Land.

Who’s to say what’s best when art lies in the eye of the beholder? But Polish Boys versus Browns? Brewnuts versus the Cleveland Museum of Art? Is there really a best part when it comes to debating the great loves of The Land?

Listen, no one said these debates made a whole lot of sense. But, then again, no one said the inherent passion and fervor of Clevelanders everywhere was entirely comprehensible either.

After all, it’s what makes us a city of underdogs, innovators, creative weirdos and pull-yourself-up-by-the-bootstraps types.

So whether it’s watching a drag queen sashay across the stage or listening to a rock legend riff across guitar strings, you’ll find your best in Cleveland — characters included.

That’s because when you’re here, you’re one of us. There’s no debate.
