FESTIVE FUN
There’s SNOW place like Cleveland in the winter, and, even as the temperatures drop and the lake effect snowflakes fly, Clevelanders can enjoy some festive fun in The Land.

Seasonal Stays
Clevelanders can plan a holiday staycation – or invite visitors for a memorable holiday experience, thanks to local hotels that are offering a festive twist on their usual stays. At the Hotel Indigo in Downtown Cleveland, a merry night awaits in the Mrs. Kringle Suite, while the jolly old elf himself has taken up residence in the Mr. Kringle Suite at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. Over at the Inn of Chagrin, a magical visit can be booked in the Christmas Room – a cozy suite that comes decked out in holiday cheer, complete with a letter from Santa himself, a hot cocoa bar and holiday music and movies.

Christmas Walking Tour
Locals and their visiting friends and family can take a trip to Christmases past with Tours of Cleveland’s Downtown Cleveland Christmas Tours, offered from Nov. 28 through Dec. 23. The hour-and-a-half-long tour explores the history of some of Downtown Cleveland’s most famous department stores and their Christmas traditions, while giving attendees a chance to take in all the festive décor throughout Downtown.

A Christmas Story House
Just like it’s not Christmas without a marathon of the holiday favorite “A Christmas Story,” it’s not the holiday season in Cleveland without a stop at the house from the movie, located in the Tremont neighborhood. Locals and their visitors are triple-dog-dared to stop by and admire the glowing leg lamp in the window, snap a selfie next to the Christmas tree or even don a pink bunny suit of their own at A Christmas Story House. The museum features original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film. And for superfans, both the house and the neighboring Bumpus House offer overnight stays.

Have yourself a merry little cocktail
Adults needing a little extra holiday spirit have no shortage of options this season. Themed cocktails, specialty shots and gourmet hot drinks are on the menu at XMAS Bar in the Flats East Bank. Over at JACK Casino, the casino’s third floor will transform into a winter wonderland for the return of the SLEIGH holiday bar, featuring a giant sleigh full of retro holiday toys and a life-size snowman made out of Rice Krispies Treats. Right down the street, Society Lounge will become Miracle on East 4th Street for the holiday season, promising to get even the grouchiest Grinch in the holiday spirit thanks to their kitschy holiday décor and craft cocktails served in themed glassware and mugs. And, merriment awaits at Great Lakes Brewing Company’s Secret Cellar Christmas Bar, pouring fresh pints of Christmas Ale and offering a Secret Cellar Christmas Bar-exclusive cocktail list.

PLEASE NOTE: The Cleveland Visitors Center will operate under special hours the week of Thanksgiving:
