The 2020
Cleveland St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the perfect way to celebrate and honor the Irish roots of thousands of Northeast Ohio residents. This year marks 178 years since the inaugural parade in 1842, and the theme is “Ireland’s Scenic Coastlines,” which will be reflected in the parade floats. Irish step dancing, bagpipe music and much more will provide for a lively event in the heart of Downtown Cleveland.

BUST A MOVE
Nighttown
Hailing from the Irish counties of Dublin and Down, the duo of John Delaney and Alec DeGabriele are set to bring their musical talents to
Nighttown for three shows titled “St. Patrick’s Day with the New Barleycorn.” Old world music works in tandem with top Nighttown dinner entrée options like Lobster Pot Pie or The Famous Dublin Lawyer to create an enjoyable night out in The Land.

Clevelanders can stop by
Music Box Supper Club for a St. Patrick’s Day brunch the Sunday before the holiday. Cuyahoga Valley National Park
The Jeremiahs, an award-winning Irish musical group that combines traditional and contemporary sounds to create their own brand of urban folk, are coming to
Cuyahoga Valley National Park in early March for a special St. Patrick’s Day themed concert. Residents are encouraged to bring the whole family and take in the beauty of the park to the tune of a great blend of Irish music.

Sober Seventeenth
For those who prefer an alcohol-free St. Patrick’s Day celebration,
Sober Seventeenth is a substance-free event similar to an Irish Hooley. Attendees can enjoy traditional and contemporary Irish singing and dancing by multi-platinum recording artist James Kilbane, who will headline the festivities. Kids can also get in on the celebrations with a coloring contest.
