Destination Cleveland Elects New Members to Board of Directors

Organization expands board to 35 members

Destination Cleveland March 12, 2019
CLEVELAND (March 12, 2019) – Destination Cleveland, Cleveland’s destination marketing and management organization, announced today the addition of eight new members to its board of directors. The new directors, who will serve three-year terms and help assess the overall direction and strategy of the organization while providing counsel to the CEO and senior leadership team, are:
  • Dr. Akram Boutrous, President and CEO, The MetroHealth System
  • David Heller, President and CEO, NRP Enterprises LLP
  • Michael Jeans, President and CEO, Growth Opportunity Partners, Inc.
  • Brenda Kirk, Founder, BKK Consulting Group, LLC
  • India Pierce Lee, Senior Vice President – Program, Cleveland Foundation
  • Kim Riley, President – Cleveland and Nashville Offices, Hylant
  • Shawn Riley, President, McDonald Hopkins
  • Harlan Sands, President, Cleveland State University

“It’s a pleasure to welcome these eight respected community members to Destination Cleveland’s board of directors,” said Dan Walsh, Board Chairman, Destination Cleveland and CEO, Citymark Capital. “Their breadth of experience and passion for Cleveland will help the organization to continue to advance its mission of attracting visitors and changing perceptions of Cleveland.”
