A spinoff from the Textile Art Alliance’s Wearable Art Fashion Show, the market will feature dozens of artists and designers who sew, knit, felt, embellish, distress, upcycle, surface design and completely dazzle with garments and accessories that stand out from the crowd. Admittance is free, parking is plentiful and accessibility is easy. Sponsors are Nina Setrakian with the Nagada line of Egyptian-based styles; Liz Tekus of Fine Points in Larchmere, with unique yarns, clothing and accessories; and Robbie Grodin of the Alpaca Fiber Studio, featuring stunning hand-felted and dyed garments and materials and equipment for budding fiber artists.
