FollowTheCrowdComedy in conjunction with Market Avenue Wine Bar Presents: "It's Time To Laugh" a one night only limited capacity pop-up comedy spotlight featuring local Ohio comedians - Drew Gigis, Dezhawn France, Julia Mary, & Bill Squire.
PLUS! Post show music by: David Bays Music
Drew Gigis is a Cleveland local comic who has been on the scene for a couple of years. With a generally relaxed style, you would never know he’s fueled by anxiety. He’s recognized as the best skateboarder in the comedy community even though it’s probably not true. Drew performs all over the Cleveland/Akron area and can be found on social media @drewgigis.
Dezhawn France is a comedian/writer (at least that’s what he likes to think) based in Akron. This bio would be longer but he has no credits….also he’s 5’6 (average woman height).
After escaping from Christian college in 2014, Julia Mary spent the next six years traveling the country, collecting memories, and avoiding adulthood. Since returning to Cleveland, she’s been crashing open mic nights all around the area, leading drunk history tours around the city and still avoiding adulthood.
Bill Squire is a comedian and the co-host of The Alan Cox Show on 100.7 WMMS The Buzzard in Cleveland that has thousands of listeners/viewers across the country on iHeartRadio and YouTube. Bill has 4 albums that have millions of streams across Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, and reached number 1 on iTunes comedy charts. Bill has Appeared in Laughs on FOX and Hulu. Bill’s comedy touches on his life as a step parent, divorce, dating, and leaving the Mormon church in his early 20’s.
David Bays is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He has been playing guitar since he was in kindergarten and writing music since he was in middle school. His aim is to fuse his technical guitar playing with visceral and profound lyrics to move anyone he possibly can with his music. In 2018 he released his first EP called “I Did It in One Day” which he recorded with his dad in the studio in one day (haha). At the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 he released his first full-length album called “Aspects of Adjustment” about his return to normal life after finishing his treatment for cancer and about all of the people in his life that helped him survive. He hopes you enjoy a joyful night out!
A portion of the shows ticket sales will be donated toward the National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Cleveland.
